What this house believes.
LINAL is a small house — two books, an audiobook, a tree you can grow in five minutes, and an app — built by one person around a handful of convictions. Here they are, in full, so you can decide whether this is your kind of place.
Life is a tree, not a list.
A list can only say what's next. It cannot say that your life, taken as a whole, is going well. We look at lives the way you'd look at a tree — roots that feed, branches that reach, fruit after its own kind — because that's the only view where balance is even visible.
Hours deserve a budget.
You would never spend money without one. Time is the only currency you can't earn more of, and almost everyone spends it unwatched. Giving every hour a job — rest included — isn't control; it's permission.
What we measure, we improve.
Not what we intend, not what we promise — what we write down and look at weekly. The look is the practice. Everything we build exists to make the look easy, honest, and shame-free.
Arithmetic, never judgment.
A missed week is stated as hours, not character. Setbacks are expected and the way back is small. Nothing in this house keeps a streak, turns red, or calls anything overdue.
Nothing nags.
Silence is the default. A tool that interrupts your life to talk about your life has already failed. Our things wait quietly to be visited — and are worth visiting.
Plain words for real people.
No jargon, no framework-speak, no ten-dollar words for one-dollar ideas. If your grandmother couldn't follow the sentence, the sentence isn't done.
